Two SPECIFIC Poop Tests EVERYONE With IBS Should Take
If you’re having issues like bloating, gas, constipation or other nagging IBS symptoms, there’s a good chance that something in your gut is causing problems and needs to be KILLED. And there’s an even better chance that you haven’t uncovered it yet.
Yep, I’m talking about parasites and other mean infections.
Most people think that since we live in a 1st world country with (debatably) clean and safe drinking water, these issues are very rare. Unfortunately, that’s NOT the case.
You’re exposed to tiny parasites and other potential infections everyday!
From touching doors, bathrooms, food, pets, and even inside your own home. They’re completely unavoidable.
And normally it shouldn’t be an issue. In an ideal world, our guts would be perfectly strong and healthy and we’d have TONS of good bacteria to keep any of these bad bugs from LIVING inside our bodies. No problem!
But today, most people’s guts aren’t so healthy and our good bacteria gets way out of balance.
Here’s just a few things that are wrecking people’s guts overtime.
- Refined foods
- Too much sugar
- Nutrient deficiencies
- Other toxins (pesticides, chemicals found in cleaners and soaps, etc)
- The list goes on forever and it’s impossible to avoid all of them in today’s world. And when your good bacteria is so out of balance, it’s like your gut’s defense system is functioning at 50%.
And now, although it might sound crazy, parasites are VERY common in Americans.
I’ve found two infections in my own body and that was AFTER doing 3 different stool tests with two different doctors. On top of that, I’m finding AT LEAST one in over 70% of my clients!
In fact, it’s completely normal for clients to come to me feeling MISERABLE, even after going through countless tests with their doctors. Before coming to me, some have paid thousands of dollars on tests only to be told “everything looks pretty normal.”
Their doctors found NOTHING to explain WHY they felt the way they did.
Maybe their cholesterol or blood pressure was off. But they couldn’t find any reasons for why their stomach ached and grumbled all the time, why they were so bloated or gassy, or why they just felt like CRAP.
Many were even told it’s NORMAL to feel that way and that it’s just a part of getting older! But that’s NOT true.
The truth is, they weren’t getting the right lab tests.
When it comes to stool testing and GI issues like bloating, gas, constipation or diarrhea… conventional medicine and insurance companies are failing us. They use outdated tests and sometimes don’t even look for everything that might be causing problems.
In fact, it typically takes at least SEVENTEEN YEARS for proven research to make it’s way into conventional medical practices!
And to make things worse, gut infections are VERY hard to find in stool samples…
- Parasites have cycles and can go dormant.
- Yeast overgrowth can disappear by the time samples reaches the lab.
- Bacteria is REALLY good at hiding
- And sometimes parasites don’t even make it into the stool sample to begin with!
- And because the infections are so tricky, there’s currently NO perfect stool test.
HOWEVER, not all stool tests are created equal.
That’s why it’s so important to use the most reliable tests available and the newest technology.
And I’ve been lucky to learn from the top functional medicine doctors who’ve meticulously tested the effectiveness of dozens of different stool tests and have compared them all side by side!
Now, I’m able to recommend the two most reliable stool tests available today.
Here they are…
1. GI Pathogen Screen with H. pylori Antigen from BioHealth
The GI Pathogen Screen with H. pylori Antigen is so great because it looks at 6 different samples taken over the course of several days from three different specimens. They aren’t playing around!
While they physically look for the bugs in the same way that most conventional tests do, they ALSO use advanced staining and antigen technologies. It’s also a growth culture, meaning they wait and evaluate what grows on the samples over several days so they REALLY increase their chances of finding the bad bugs.
2. Parasitology x3 from Doctor’s Data
The Parasitology x3 is amazing because in addition to being a growth culture, it uses microscopy and super sensitive biochemical investigations to evaluate the status of both beneficial and pathogenic (bad) microorganisms.
While these two tests are proving to be the most reliable amongst the top gut health experts, it’s NOT unusual for them to miss things. Remember, the bugs are HARD to detect!
So you can understand why it’s important to do BOTH tests to give you the best shot of becoming IBS free, here’s three cases of examples with these two lab tests, side-by-side.
This case had some major stomach pains, along with feeling bloated and constipated. Here’s what we found… (please excuse my poor editing skills)!
The BioHealth lab found Endolimax Nana, but the Parasitology x3 found yeast overgrowth and no parasites. It was necessary to tackle BOTH of these in order for him to feel MAJOR improvements and completely break free from his IBS PRISON.
If we only ran one of those tests, we would’ve skipped out on taking care of one of these and he’d probably still feel bloated and miserable today!
This client suffered from a lot of heartburn, smelly gas and constipation. Here are her results…
And look at that! The BioHealth screening for H. pylori and yeast, while the Parasitology x3 found Blastocystis Hominis and yeast again! Once again, I was so thankful we ran these two labs.
H. Pylori and Blasto can both cause some major GI turmoil and you don’t want to miss out on finding EITHER one of them!
And Case 3:
This client had terribly frustrating diarrhea and felt tired all the time. This is what his two tests showed.
They both found Blastocystis Hominis, but the Parasitology x3 found some yeast overgrowth that the other lab missed. While these tests had similar results, it felt good to have both results in our hand.
But once he did his Blasto protocol, he had a MAJOR breakthrough in his diarrhea. And sure enough, his energy levels shot up too!
Like I said, these tests are finding infections in just about all of my clients with digestive issues.
They can help you find BIG roadblocks that can prevent you from stopping your awful gut symptoms.
Unfortunately, most people suffering with IBS never find these and I don’t want you to be one of them. If you want to overcome your IBS symptoms, you NEED give yourself the BEST shot at finding these infections.
From my experience, there’s a really good chance you have at least one and you don’t want to overlook it! Otherwise, it can keep wreaking havoc on your gut.
And the best part is… once you find something, it’s typically very easy to get rid of.
Most infections can be defeated by safe, reliable herbal protocols that last for about 2 months. Boom! Done!
For once… “there’s a pill for that”!
But ALWAYS remember, there’s no magic pill to cure IBS as a whole.
Killing parasites or other infections is just one part of getting your gut healthy again. Nutrition and other factors are incredibly important for achieving a life of no gas, no bloating and easy, perfect poops.
If you want to know more and see whether or not these tests are right for you, you can book a one-hour case review with me and take a big step to FINALLY getting over those embarrassing, uncomfortable IBS symptoms. I’ve been there before and I’d be so grateful to help save you from more suffering.
